Dear Friends,
Well, it’s that time of the year again! These last few months have gone by so fast. We are doing good. We’ve added a new addition to our family this year. Jackson Ryan was born in August. The girls are enjoying having a little brother and love him so much (maybe a little too much!). If you remember last year’s letter, we mentioned that Kaelyn was asking for a baby brother. Well, she got her wish.
Ryan is still working in Madisonville and is enjoying it. He is still serving as Bishop at church and we are finally starting to see growth. Which makes his job easier. He got a new toy this year. He finally got his scooter after months of begging. He said it was to help with gas, but I think he just wants a motorcycle and this is the closest thing to it that he’s going to get!
Kerrie has discovered a new hobby this year. Blogging! She updates it a couple of times a week. It’s an easy way to stay in touch with old friends (but makes for a boring Christmas letter to those who are reading it). She is also trying to figure out the whole coupon thing. It’s proving to be very stressful, but very necessary. And she is also trying to learn photography. But is finding it hard to find time to actually learn!
Kaelyn is four now. She is such a funny girl and makes everyone laugh. During her dance recital she stopped dancing and started pulling faces. She thought everyone was laughing at her and kept doing it. She is not taking dance this year. She said she wanted to do her own thing at home, but has expressed interest in taking piano lessons. We are working on that and hopefully when she turns five she will be able to. Mommy is trying to teach her to read. She loves books and wants to learn, but has too much energy to actually sit down to learn. She is a Sunbeam in Primary and loves her teacher very much.
Morgan is two and is so much fun to watch. She is very curious and gets into everything! We are not used to that. She loves books just like her big sister and even has to sleep with a couple in her bed. She does everything Kaelyn does. Let’s hope she still wants to be like her big sister when it’s time for potty training in a few months. And boy, does this girl love to eat! She can finish her plate and if we are still eating, she wants to eat off of our plate! She is doing surprisingly well with a new baby around. She loves to give him hugs and kisses and we have never had a problem with jealousy. She still hasn’t officially said a full word yet. She says parts of words and will try to talk your ear off. She is taking speech therapy and hopefully she will be talking soon.
Jack was born August 12th at 12:30 PM weighing 7 pounds, 2 ounces and measuring 19 ½ inches. Which is the same weight and length as Kaelyn. He is gaining weight fast! At 3 ½ months he weighed the same as an average seven month old! He’s been back and forth seeing specialists, but everything is ok. He’s a little more challenging than the girls were as babies, but makes up for it with smiles! The girls never smiled as much as he does. He loves his big sisters and smiles when ever he sees them. His first laugh was at Kaelyn. We are figuring things out and it is getting much easier.
We are enjoying life and love our “little” family.
Merry Christmas!
Love,
Ryan, Kerrie, Kaelyn, Morgan and Jack

Merry Christmas Cancienne Family. One thing about blogging you don't get to choose your followers. Thanks for allowing us to read it. It's been so fun and lot of laughs during this passed year! Also made us miss La. I've loved blogging. I've copied my own entries and added it to my journaling so for my own personal benifit its been worth it. Looking forward to another year of blogging!!
