Our usual tradition is that Ryan and I put up our Christmas tree and the lights while the kids were sleeping Sunday night and decorate it with the kids Monday night. But we got back much later from Louisiana than expected since we had to stop and sleep for a while on the way home. So Monday we put the tree up and decorated it with the kids. I like letting the kids decorate and leave it, even if they have five ornaments on the same branch. I think it's cute. But I had to do some rearranging to get the breakable ones up top so Jack couldn't get them.
